DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 IE BULLETIN 85-03
Dear Mr. Martin:
Item (e) of IE Bulletin 85-03 requires, by May 16, 1986, the submittal of a written report to the NRC that:
O reports the results of item (a) of the bulletin and 0 contains the program to accomplish items (b) through (d) including a schedule for completion of these items.
The Westinghouse Owners Group (WOG) has undertaken a program to generically address item (a) of the bulletin. A description of the program was transmitted to the NRC in a letter from L. D. Butterfield to Tom Novak dated March 18, 1986.
The results of the WOG program, which was completed in April of 1986, provide each member utility with a methodology for the completion of the plant specific portion of item (a) of the bulletin.
We raouest a two month extension to the bulletin reporting deadline to plan the actidties for the plant specific requirements of the bulletin.
