Dear Mr. Johnson:
On December 2,1985, we notified your Mr. S. Phillips of a deficiency regarding the use of Ampector II-A relays in the 480 volt switchgear instead of specified Amptector II relays. We have submitted interim
' report logged TXX-4661, dated January 2,1986.
Evaluation by site engineering has concluded that although FSAR and set-point revisions are in order, the difference in the Amptector II and II-A are enhancements.
No adverse conditions exist. The issue is not reportable under the provisions of 10CFR 50.55(e).
