COMANCHE PEAK STEAM ELECTRIC STATION DOCKET N05. 50-445 AND 50-446 ASME CODE CASE N-378
Dear Mr. Noonan:
In a letter dated June 11, 1985 the NRC Staff approved the use of ASME Code Case N-378 in the examination of bottom mounted instrumentation seal tables for CPSES Units 1 and 2.
The NRC also requested certain information (concerning issues previously resolved) independent of the approval to use this Code. Case.
The Staff had previously requested similar information in connection with the TUGCo Code Case submittal of January 25, 1985.
In TXX-4610, dated November 18, 1985, (TUGCo's response to the January 25 request) TUGCo discussed their responsibility to inform the Staff and the ASLB of material changes to information previously relied on to resolve licensing issues.
That response is equally applicable to the Staff's request regarding Code Case N-378. Accordingly, please consider that response to also serve as TUGCo's response to the Staff's current request.
