Dear Mr. Denise:
On September 26, 1985, we verbally notified your Mr. I. Barnes of a deficiency regarding the use of core boring equipment during the installation of shear lugs which could have resulted in undocumented damaged reinforcing steel. We have submitted an interim report logged TXX-4603, dated October 16, 1985.
The concern is being evaluated under CPRT Program Plan Item II.e.
Our evaluation to date has revealed no condition adverse to safety.
We are continuing our evaluation and anticipate completion by February 5, 1986.
