On July 19, 1985, we verbally notified your Mr. D. Powell of a deficiency regarding the deviation from FSAR criteria in the design of the Unit 1 Steam Generator upper lateral restraint embedment.
We have submitted an interim report logged TXX-4532, dated August 9, 1985.
The concern is being evaluated under CPRT Program Plan Item V.b.
We are continuing our evaluation and anticipato completion by January 22, 1986.
