Dear Sir:
In TXX-4366 it was erroneously stated that information concerning CPSES ASME Code Usage was requested by Mr. Robert Kirkwood of the NRC Mechanical Engineering Branch. CPSES initiated NRC staff contact to determine the documentation requirements necessary for usage of ASME code editions / addenda not yet referenced in 10CFR50.55a.
It is our understanding that the ASME Code with Addenda through the 1984 Edition have been reviewed and approved by the Staff (with the exception of a portion of Section XI) and will be incorporated in a future revision of 10CFR50.55a.
Accordingly, Staff approval is' requested for CPSES usage of the following portions of ASME Code Section lII Subsection NF:
