Dear Mr. Hunter:
On August 24, 1984 we verbally notified your Mr. D. Hunnicutt of a deficiency regarding the Conax penetration connector that came off during removal of the protective endcap. We have submitted interim reports logged TXX-4312 and TXX-4355 dated September 24, 1984 and November 8, 1984, respectively.
We have completed our investigation and concluded that the matter is not reportable under 10CFR50.55(e). Records supporting this determination are available for your inspector's review at the CPSES site.
