Dear Mr. Hunter:
On August 29, 1984 we verbally notified your Mr. D. Hunnicutt of an incident regarding preoperational testing activities at CPSES, the details of which were made available to attorneys representing Texas utilities Generating Company in our licensing hearings. Evidence of the incident indicated that a person identified as " Individual F" intentionally misled a QC Surveillance Specialist into signing off on a preoperational test. We have submitted an interim report logged TXX-4319 dated September 28, 1984.
We are continuing our evaluation and anticipate completion by December 7, 1984.
