Reference (1)reportedthattheseismicanddynamicqualificationofthe Turbine Driven Auxiliary Feedwater Pump Control Panel was incomplete and provided a Justification for Interim Operation (JIO) for this panel.
The seismic and dynamic qualification of this panel is now complete and has been accepted for the Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station (CPSES).
The acceptance of tt'is qualification is documented by transmittal TSG-5709 of July 19, 1984 and is based on:
TERRY CORP.
Seismic Compliance Report, Control Panel for Auxiliary Feedwater Pump Drive Turbine, Report No. E/L#20722 Rev. 0, dated July 11, 1974 Supplemented by TSG-5783 (attached).
Based on the information provided above, the seismic and dynamic qualification of the Turbine Driven Auxiliary Feedwater Pump Control Panel can be considered a closed issue on the CPSES dockets.
