Dear Mr. Cellins:
j Our review of Bunker Ramo Company electrical penetration assemoiin referenced in IE Bulletin 82-04 is not yet complete.
To date, 75% of the penetration assemblies have been reviewed without indication of sny discrepancies associated with item lb of the bulletin. However, preliminary data indicates that an on-site test program will have to be developed to establish acceptance of the in-line butt splices referenced in items 1c and 2b.
The remaining inspections, testing and evaluations will require an additional four months.
We therefore request an extension to July 1,1983 to complete our review and implement corrective action as necessary. Should you have additional questions please contact this office.
