Dear Mr. Madsen:
On December 7,1981, we verbally informed your Mr. R. G. Taylor of a deficiency regarding eight 3/4 inch valves in the Auxiliary Feedwater System that have been underspecified in terms of their pressure /
temperature ratings. We previously submitted an interim report logged TXX-3457, dated December 31, 1981.
We have completed our investigation and concluded that the matter is not reportable under 10 CFR 50.55(e).
Records supporting this determination are available for your Inspector's review at the CPSES site.
