SCHEDULES FOR ANALYSIS / EVALUATIONS i
Dear Mr. Burwell:
We are working on analysis / evaluations which are required to res:'ond to concerns raised by your Auxiliary Systems Branch. A brief description of the concerns and the expected submittal dates of our results follows.
1.
Concern - Verify that a leak generated by a moderate energy pipe break in the condensate storage facility will not result in unacceptable flooding of Safety-Related epipment in the safeguards building.
Scheoule - 3rd quarter 1982.
2.
Concern - Verify that Steam Generator PORY controls (specifically pressure transducers) will be qualified for a pipe crack environment..
Schedule ~4th quarter 1981.
3.
Concern - Provide *he results of the worst case envirottment for a steam / feed line pipe break (Super Pipe) in the break exclusior. area outside of containment. Compare the calculated valves to structural and equipment design valves.
Schedule - September 1981.
4 Concern - Provide analysis for high energy pipe break environment in compartments with Safety-Related eq;ipment.
Schedule - 1st quarter 1982.
5.
Concern - P.' ovide analyses of jet impingement effects for oipe breaks outside of containment.
Schedule - 3rd quarter 1982.
