Dear Mr. Seidle:
This letter transmits our formal report in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55(e) concerning a concrete honeycomb condition encountered in the Steam Generator Compartment walls in the vicinity of the hot and cold leg pipe sleeves for the Unit No. 2, Reactor Containment Building. This matter was verbally reported to your Mr. R. G. Taylor on December 13, 1979 as an item that we were evaluating for reportability under 10 CFR 50.55(e).
The attached report completes our obligations under the formal requirements of 10 CFR 50.55(e) and resolves certain concerns we had reported verbally to Mr. Taylor throughout the course of our investigation.
