The following information was provided by … The following information was provided by the licensee via email:</br>On November 12, 2023, at 0300 EST, a Watts Bar contractor was transported offsite for medical treatment due to a work-related injury. Upon arrival at an offsite medical facility, medical personnel determined the injury required the individual to be admitted into the hospital and will be kept overnight. The individual was inside of the Radiological Controlled Area, however was free released with no contamination.</br>The injury and hospitalization were reported to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) under 29 CFR 1904.39(a)(2). The contracting agency informed OSHA at 1319 EST. Watt Bar Operations personnel were officially notified by the contracting agency of the report made to OSHA at 1945 EST.</br>This is a four-hour notification, non-emergency for a notification of other government agency. This event is reportable in accordance with 10 CFR 50.72(b)(2)(xi).</br>The NRC Resident Inspector has been notified. NRC Resident Inspector has been notified. +
