Indian Point Unit 3 was manually tripped a … Indian Point Unit 3 was manually tripped at 1427 EDT due to lowering steam generator water levels. At 1425 EDT, #31 condensate pump tripped, causing the lowering water levels. There were no immediate complications on the trip and the unit is stable in Mode 3. Auxiliary feedwater actuated as expected and is in service. All rods inserted and decay heat is being rejected to the condensers. Offsite electrical power is in service. Unit 2 is stable at 100% power.</br>The licensee plans on issuing a press release.</br>The licensee notified the NRC Resident Inspector and New York Public Service Commission.or and New York Public Service Commission.  +
