The following information was provided by … The following information was provided by the licensee via email:</br>On 09/02/2022 at 22:48 with Unit 1 at 40% power, the reactor was manually tripped due to a loss of the only operating main feed pump which caused lowering level in the steam generators. All systems responded as expected following the trip. Auxiliary feed actuation signal occurred due to lowering steam generator levels. The cause of the main feedwater pump trip is under investigation.</br>St. Lucie Unit 2 was not affected and remains at 100% power.</br>This event is being reported pursuant to 10 CFR 50.72 (b)(2)(iv)(B) for the reactor trip and 10 CFR 50.72 (b)(3)(iv)(A) for the auxiliary feed actuation.</br>The NRC Resident Inspector has been notified.</br>The following additional information was obtained from the licensee in accordance with Headquarters Operations Officers Report Guidance:</br>Decay heat is being removed by using the atmospheric dump valves.oved by using the atmospheric dump valves. +
