The following is a summary of information … The following is a summary of information received from Fisher Control International, LLC. via facsimile:</br>Equipment Affected By This Information Notice: Items provided to Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC on purchase order 4500325241. TAG# APP-PV-20-ZOD-101, Fisher Serial numbers 19447200 and 19451246.</br>Purpose: The purpose of this Fisher Information Notice (FIN) is to alert Westinghouse Electric Company, LLC (WEC) that as of 1/30/2013, Fisher Controls International, LLC. (Fisher) became aware of the possibility of a situation which may affect the performance of the aforementioned equipment, including their safety-related function.</br>We (Fisher) are informing WEC of this circumstance in accordance with Section 50.55(e) of 10CFR50.</br>Applicability: This notice applies only to the subject equipment supplied by Fisher, identified above, that was provided to WEC.</br>Discussion: It was determined that at least one of the proximity switch target magnet (find #203 on the drawing GE48644) installed on the subject equipment was loose when received by WEC. Therefore, the switch would not have been operable.</br>Action Required: Fisher will perform the repair work on-site at Dockside Logistics.
