On 3/29/08 at approximately 1100, oil wast … On 3/29/08 at approximately 1100, oil waste was discharged from Units 1 and 2 into a storm drain which discharges into the cooling canal system. The discharge created an oil sheen approximately 10 feet in diameter. The oil slick is currently contained within an oil boom. The Department of Environmental Resource Management for Miami-Dade County was notified of the event at 1715.</br>This was a minor leak contained entirely within the owner controlled area with no path to major waterways.</br>The licensee notified the NRC Resident Inspector.ensee notified the NRC Resident Inspector.  +
