At a construction site in Park Plaza (133 … At a construction site in Park Plaza (133 - 143 Park Street in Vienna, Virginia 22180) a paver ran over a CPN model MC1DR moisture density gauge. The paver dragged the device 6 to 8 feet before stopping. The device was found to be in the shielded position. The Radiation Safety Officer verified this with a meter that read 0.4 millirem per hour at 1 meter which was expected for a shielded device.</br>The licensee plans to return the gauge to the manufacturer for a damage assessment .</br> * * * UPDATE FROM O.
