At 10:39 AM on 4/6/06, Unit 2 HPCI was dec … At 10:39 AM on 4/6/06, Unit 2 HPCI was declared inoperable due to circuit breaker 16 failure on the ESS bus. Circuit breaker 16 opened as a result of temporarily shorting the power supply lead while installing a new HPCI temperature recorder. Trouble shooting is in progress as a result of the failure and restoration will follow. Since circuit breaker 16 provides ESS power to HPCI flow controller, HPCI was declared inoperable.
