ENS 5048323 September 2014 13:59:00(Millstone) U2 High Range Stack Radiation Monitor, RM-8168 was removed from service for pre-planned maintenance. This action is reportable as a loss of assessment capability per 10CFR50.72(b)(3)(xiii). RM-8168 was restored to operable status on 9/23/14 at 1212 (EDT). The licensee has notified the NRC Resident Inspector and state and local authorities.

This is reportable as a loss of assessment capability in accordance with 10 CFR 50.72(b)(3)(xiii). Expected return to service time is at 1600 (EDT) on 9/8/14. The licensee has notified Waterford township, the State of Connecticut and the NRC Resident Inspector.

The expected return to service time is 1400 EST. The licensee informed the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, Waterford Dispatch and the NRC Resident Inspector.
ENS 495096 November 2013 16:48:00The Millstone Station stack radiation monitor, RM-8169, was removed from service for preplanned maintenance at 1028 (EST) and returned to service at 1513 (EST). The Unit 2 high range stack radiation monitor, RM-8168, was removed from service for preplanned maintenance at 1543 (EST) and will be removed from service for approximately 3 days. The licensee has notified the NRC Resident Inspector and applicable state and local authorities.
