The incident location is at 22828 NC Way 87 W. Fayetteville, NC. 28306-7332. A survey of the landfill has not yet been performed and there are no significant exposure hazards. No one has been injured by the event. (NC Incident No.05-32). Less than the quantity of an IAEA Category 3 source. Sources that are 'Less than IAEA Category 3 sources,' are either sources that are very unlikely to cause permanent injury to individuals or contain a very small amount of radioactive material that would not cause any permanent injury. These are IAEA Category 5 sources and are not dangerous: No one could be permanently injured by this amount of radioactive material. |
