South Texas Project Units 1 & 2 Docket Nos. STN 50-498, STN 50-499 Final Safety Analysis Report Amendment 40 Please find, under separate cover, sixty copies of Amendment 40 to the South Texas Project (STP) Units 1 and 2 Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR).
A copy of this transmittal is attached to each amendment copy.
Amendment 40 revises the FSAR to incorporate the following:
1.
General Update to FSAR Sections 1.2.2, 3.6, 3.8, 7.5, Appendix 7A, 9.1.3, 9.1.4, 9.3.2 and 9.3.3; 2.
Revisions to Chapter 14; 3.
A new Appendix 78 which discusses STP's compliance with R.G. 1.97 (Rev. 2);
4.
Revised responses to NRC questions; and 5.
Miscellaneous FSAR text revisions and editorial changes.
As identified in the Licensing Schedule that was submitted by letter dated May 17, 1983, note that the revisions identified in items (1), (2) and (3) above include essential information necessary for the NRC staff to complete its technical review and prepare partial SER's.
