STAFF REQUIREMENTS - SECY-22-0065 - EVALUATION OF THE U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSIONS GENERAL LICENSE PROGRAM FOR DEVICES CONTAINING RADIOACTIVE MATERIALS IN RESPONSE TO SRM-SECY 0083 The Commission has approved the staffs request to withdraw the subject SECY paper.
The staffs request was based on advancements to the generally licensed (GL) program accountability efforts and the fact that some information in the paper is no longer current and would not represent the most complete and accurate basis for a Commission decision. The staff will continue to monitor and manage the GL program to ensure established performance metrics are met as process improvements continue to be made.
