This is to acknowledge receipt of Framatomes submittal dated July 20, 2020 (Agencywide Document Access and Management System [ADAMS] Accession Number ML20202A562),
transmitting Framatomes Revised Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan (FNMCP, E07-01-001 Version 12.0). The NRC staff completed a preliminary review of the information provided and identified no major deficiencies/issues.
As discussed in Staff Requirements Memorandum for SECY-16-0009, Recommendations Resulting from the Integrated Prioritization and Re-Baselining of Agency Activities (ADAMS Accession Number ML16104A158), the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) licensing staff will no longer perform detailed reviews of FNMCPs. Therefore, we are referring your submittal to the NRC inspection staff for further evaluation of the changes during a future inspection of your facilitys licensed activities. Please note that no cost activity code is being assigned to this action.
In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Section 2.390, Public inspections, exemptions, requests for withholding, of the NRCs Agency Rules of Practice and Procedure, a copy of this communication will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from ADAMS. ADAMS is accessible from the NRC Web Site at http://www.nrc.gov/reading-rm/adams.html.
