The enclosed report is a summary of the implementation of the Environmental Protection Plan (EPP) for the period of January 1, 2005 to December 31, 2005. This repcrt is submitted pursuant to the requirements of 10 CFR 50.36b and Section 5.4 of the Seabrook Station Environmental Protection Plan.

- FPI, Energy Seabrook Letter SBK-L-05123, "Response to NH F&G Questions Re: 2'004 Hydrological Monitoring Report," dated June 6, 2005. This letter was submitted to the N!Tew Hampshire Fish & Game Department in response to questions received from NH F&G during their review of the 2004 Hydrological Monitoring Report.
The letter summarized FPL Energy Seabrook's findings with regard to "outlier" delta-Ts.
- FPL Energy Seabrook Letter SBK-L-05142, "Discharge Diffuser Nozzle Inspection," dated June 29, 2005. This letter was submitted to the EPA providing a written report and videotape of the videotaped inspection of four of Seabrook Station's eleven offshore dual discharge diffuser nozzles, as well as the inspection of the offshore intake structures and onshore intake and discharge structures. The videotaped inspection was performed in accordance with Part I.A.25 of the NPDES Permit. The inspection identified that the condition of the nozzles was satisfactory and no maintenance was required.
- FPl, Energy Seabrook Letter SBK-L-05169, "2005 Environmental Monitoring Mid-Year Report," dated July 29, 2005. This letter was submitted to the EPA in accordance with the NPIDES Permit and summarized the Biological, Hydrological and Chlorination Monitoring Program results.
The report concluded that the Environmental Monitoring Program continued to demonstrate that Seabrook Station has not had a deleterious impact on the balanced indigenous populations in the coastal waters of New Hampshire.
FPl, Energy Seabrook Letter SBK-L-005187, "2004 Environmental Monitoring Rep art,"
dated September 1, 2005. This letter was submitted to the EPA in accordance with the NP.DES Permit and describes the environmental monitoring program for Seabrook Station.
The 2004 Environmental Monitoring Report provides a comparison of 2004 environmental monitoring data to previous years and continues to demonstrate that Seabrook Station has not had an adverse effect upon the balanced indigenous populations in the Hampton-Seab:ook area.
This letter was submitted to the EPA in accordance with the NPDES Permit enclosing the provider-graded results for DMR-QA Study 25.
The graded results indicated that all analytical results for FPL Energy Seabrook were acceptable and one Whole Effluent Toxicity Test result for Envirosystems Inc. was found not acceptable and would be evaluated further.
Subsequently, the Whole Effluent Toxicity Test was re-performed and the results were determined to be acceptable.
EPP Non-Compliance and Corrective Actions There were no NPDES Permit exceedences reported to the EPA in the monthly Seabrook Station Discharge Monitoring Reports (DMRs) in 2005.

Changes in Station Design or Operation, Tests and Experiments Involving a Potentially Unreviewed Environmental Ouestion
- During 2005, there were no changes in Station design or operation, tests and equipment that involved a potentially unreviewed environmental question. Environmental screening of these changes was performed as required by the Seabrook Station Environmental Compliance Manual.
Non-Routine Reports
- During 2005 there were no non-routine reports made in accordance with the NPDES Permit or the Environmental Protection Plan.
