SUMMARY
The River Bend Station annual random testing rate is 50 percent. During this reporting period, approximately 24.1 percent of the population has been randomly tested. The rate of positive tests from random testing is 0 percent.
POSITIVE RESULTS:
During this six month reporting period, 1,144 samples were collected and tested. Six samples were confirmed positive for illegal drugs. One short-term contractor provided a sample with a low temperature and refused to provide another sample.
MANAGEMENT ACTIONS:
There were six for-cause tests conducted this period:
" One was an observed behavior of an Entergy employee whose sample came back negative. Subject was mandated to the Employee Assistance Program.
Unescorted access was reinstated after evaluation results were received.
Two were observed behaviors of contract employees whose samples came back negative.
" Three contract employees were tested post accident and the results were negative.
EVENTS REPORTED TO THE NRC:
During this reporting period, there were no violations of the fitness for duty program that were reportable.
PROGRAM EVALUATION:
No programmatic problems were identified during this reporting period.
