sediment in each component to be analyzed for the presence I

In the event Service Water is cross connected with the Fire I I

Protection or RPCCW System, the Shift Supervisor / Control I

Operating Foreman shall be responsible for notifying the I

Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, and the responsible I

I System Engineers. Cross connection will require preven-I I

tative maintenance in accordance with the applicable sec-I tion of Reference 2.6.

The affected system will be flushed I with domineralized water to remove any infestations.

If any Sampling inspections reveal juvenile or adult class I

l in any heat exchanger listed in Step 5-.3.1 above, perform-l I

ance. testing of all other S.afety-Related components I

monitored in section 5.1.1 will be conducted within seven l

(7) days. A Condition Report will be generated in accord-I I

ance with Reference 2.11 which identifies the amount of I

clams relative to the size of the heat exchanges, systems I

affected and corrective actions taken to prevent further I

g spread of clams.

5.4 Chlorination l

I 5.4.1 Chlorination will be in accordance with Reference 2.7.

The I

chlorination system will be operated continuously during I

the months of April thru November to maintain total free I

residual chlorine concentration between 0.6 ppe and 0.8 ppe I

in the Service Water return header as read on recorder 1-I WTH-AR144. The Service Water Return Header Chlorine Hi/ Low I

alarm setpoints will be 0.3 ppe Lo and 1.1 ppe Hi.

In the I

I event the chlorination system is not able to maintain I

greater than.3 ppe residual chlorine, a Condition Report I

5.4.2 Chlorination during the months of December thru March I

report will begin upon initial introduction of river. water I

I into the Normal Service Water System and will include at l

I least one full calender quarter. The reports will contain l

I a summary of the ACCP activities at River Bend Station and I

I copies of NPDES monitoring reports of chlorine discharges I

I for the quarter. The Process System Supervisor, or l

I designee, will provide trend analysis results of systems l

I-using river water to the Supervisor Environmental Services l

I for inclusion in this report. Copies of this report will l

be submitted to the Nuclear Licensing group for formal sub-I l

I mittal to the State of Louisiana and the NRC.
