Registration of Use of Casks to Store Spent Fuel In accordance with 10 CFR 72.212, Conditions of general license issued under §72.210 Subpart K, paragraph (b)(2), Exelon Generation Company, LLC is registering, with the NRC, the use of two casks under the general license to store spent fuel at LaSalle County Station.
The initial use of these casks to store spent fuel occurred on May 13, 2015 and June 24, 2015, respectively. This registration is required to be submitted within 30 days. Accordingly, this submittal is due by July 24, 2015 for Cask Identification Number Multi-Purpose Canister Type 68, Serial No. 0313 HI-STORM 100 Serial No. 0469. The 30 day submittal for Cask Identification Number Multi-Purpose Canister Type 68, Serial No. 0314 HI-STORM 100 Serial No. 0473 expired on June 12, 2015. This late submittal has been captured in the stations Corrective Action Program fIR 2525663).
