This represents an exemption fr'om Appendix J. (2) This valve is not tested. This represents an exemption from Appendix J. (3) Hay be opened for surveillance or to ensure technical specification limits when done under administrative controls that ensure the valve can be closed by operator action within 60 seconds of a containment isolation actuation signal (CIAS). (i (4) Valves required to be open for RCP operation. (5) This valve is tested at a pressure greater than PA (39.6 psig) using the liquid collection method in the reverse direction. This represents an exemption from Appendix J. (6) System boundary, required to be closed to maintain containment integrity. Containment isolation boundary vent and drain valves may be periodically opened for diagnostic check to ensure technical specification limits or to ensure system operability are maintained. While these valves are open, a locally stationed operator _ vill be in direct communication with control room. This ensures the valves are capable of being closed within 60 seconds of a containment isolation actuation signal.
