October Operation Simnary Nuclear Heat-Up was empleted this month and prior to entering Test Oondition 1, a planned outage was started.

The major outage critical paths are modifications to (E31) Ieak Detection system, (P45) Dnergency Service Water Iow Flow By-Pass, and (P57) Safety Related Instrument Air, and Control Rod Drive replacement.

Perry experienced its second reactor scram (while critical). This scram resulted frm a plant technician inadvertently opening a reference leg instrument isolation valve during the conduct of a surveillance test instruction. The plant was stabilized in a shutdown condition.
