Commitment Revision Letter Palisades Nuclear Plant Docket 50-255 License No. DPR-20
Dear Sir or Madam:
By letter dated July 08, 2011, Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (ENO) submitted Licensee Event Report (LER), 2011-004, Turbine-Driven Auxiliary Feedwater Pump Inoperable in Excess of Technical Specification Requirements Due to Unexpected Trip. In that letter, ENO committed to provide a supplement to LER 2011-004, containing the results of an additional causal evaluation and potential new corrective actions, by December 15, 2011.
ENO has determined additional time is necessary to allow for site review and acceptance of the supporting documentation required for completion of the LER 2011-004 supplement.
Summary of commitments:
This letter contains no new commitments and one revision to existing commitments.
Commitment made by letter of July 08, 2011:
ENO will provide a supplement containing the results of the additional causal evaluation and potential new corrective actions by December 15, 2011.
Revised commitment:
ENO will provide a supplement to LER 2011-004 containing the results of the additional causal evaluation and potential new corrective actions by January 31, 2012.
