MEDIA INTEREST IN ARREST OF CONTRACT SECURITY SUPERVISOR On August 15,
- 1997, a St. Lucie contractor security supervisor was arrested and charged by local law enforcement officials for an event unrelated to the plant operation.
The licensee was notified of the arrest and the individual's unescorted access to the plant was immediately suspended.
The individual was released on bond as of noon today from the St. Lucie County, jail.
The resident inspectors were notified and will continue to follow-up on thz.s event.
There is media interest.
The licensee does not plan to issue a press release at this time.
The state of Florida has been notified.
