STEAM GENERATOR TUBE LEAK.

as A steam generator tube leak of approximately Oe6 gallons per hour was identified in the "B" steam generator on November 4, 1980.

Samples taken at..5:00 a.m.

on November 5 indicated a leak rate of.Oa4 gallons per hour; limit is

$8 gallons per hour.

The unit was returned to operations.on November 2 Xollowiag a:steam generator inspection outage.

Licensee is evaluating actions to be taken.

Media interest is anticipated.

Neither the licensee nor the NRC~lan to issue a

news release.

The State of Florida has been notified.

Region II (Atlanta) received notification of this occurrence by telephone from the
