The purpose of this meeting is for the NRC staff to meet directly with individuals to discuss regulatory and technical issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed throughout the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.

Purpose:

The purpose of this meeting is for the NRC staff to discuss Draft Regulatory Guide (DG) 4034, General Site Suitability Criteria for Nuclear Power Stations, (ML23123A090). DG-4034 is the proposed Revision 4 to Regulatory Guide (RG) 4.7. The staff will clarify the assumptions in the alternative approaches to the population density criterion that have been developed for non-light-water-reactor (non-LWR) technology and light-water small modular reactors (SMRs). The staff encourages feedback from all stakeholders during this meeting. The staff will consider the feedback; however, no formal responses will be issued.
