Pre-Submittal Meeting regarding Proposed Revision to Technical Specification (TS) 5.5.16 for Farley Nuclear Plant (Farley), Units 1 and 2; and Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (Vogtle), Units 1 and 2 Date(s) and Time(s): November 08, 2021, 01:00 PM to 02:00 PM ET Location: Teleconference Category: This is an Observation Meeting. This is a meeting in which attendees will have an opportunity to observe the NRC performing its regulatory function or discussing regulatory issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed following the business portion of the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.

Purpose:

The purpose of the meeting is to hear Southern Nuclear Operating Company's (SNC) plan to submit a proposed license amendment request to revise TS 5.5.16 for Farley, Units 1 and 2; and Vogtle, Units 1 and 2. The Vogtle, Units 1 and 2, TS 5.5.16 is titled, "[Main Steam] MS and [Feedwater] FW Piping Inspection Program." The Farley, Units 1 and 2, TS 5.5.16 is titled, "Main Steamline Inspection Program."
