Purpose:

The purpose of this teleconference, between Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD, the licensee) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff, is to discuss a proposed exemption from Appendix J of 10 CFR Part 50 that would align the frequency of Appendix J Option B testing with the frequency of similar testing performed under the inservice testing program per 10 CFR 50.55(a)(f) at the Cooper Nuclear Station.
