Enclosed are two copies each of NUREG 1970 and 2005 that detail the development of the checklist for evaluation of emergency procedures used in nuclear power plants. These documents were prepared under contract for the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission by Sandia National Laboratories. We deeply appreciate your generous assistance and cooperation in this study. Because of your willingness to contribute, our contractor was able to obtain useful information and develop a guide that should be helpful not only to IE but to the licensee.
