The staff has completed the technical update report on the safety of pressure suppression containment systems requested in your letter of June 15,1978. A copy of the report, NUREG-0474, is enclose,d.
The report includes sections on the ice-condenser pressure suppression concept in addition to the material you requested on pressure suppression containments for boiling water reactors.
It therefore covers all of the pressure suppression containment designs in use in this country.
