Perfonnance Appraisal Section Inspection E. I. Hatch Nuclear Facility Your E. I. Hatch facility has been selected for a management inspection by the staff of the Office of Inspection and Enforcement (IE) Performance Appraisal Section (PAS). The areas to be covered by this inspection are addressed in the enclosed inspection plan for a management appraisal inspection.

The inspection is scheduled for the weeks of April 19-23, April 26-30, and llay 10-13, 1982.

PAS anticipates the first week to be spent at the plant site, the second at the corporate offices, and the third, !!ay 10-13, 1982, at either location as required to complete the inspection.

The PAS inspections are an integral part of the revised NRC inspection program described in NUREG 0397 and approved by the Commission in June 1977. Although the inspections are conducted by the PAS, the regions retain the principal responsibility for the day-to-day inspection and enforcement program, and remain the principal line of communications between IE and your organization.
