DPR-24 and DPR-27 30-Dav Res~onseto NRC Bulletin 2011-01, Mitigating Strateaies Reference I: NextEra Energy Point Beach, LLC letter to NRC dated June 7, 201I, Point Beach Nuclear Plant (PBNP), Units Iand 2 Day Response to NRC Bulletin 2014-01, Mitigating Strategies.

The NRC issued Bulletin (BL) 2011-01, "Mitigating Strategies," dated May II, 2011, to request each licensee to submit a written response in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(f) within 30 days of the date of the bulletin. Via Reference 1, NextEra Energy Point Beach (NextEra), LLC, submitted the 30-day response.

During a teleconference with the NRC on June 9, 201I,NextEra determined that a revision to the Reference Isubmittal is required. The enclosure to this letter contains the revised 30-day response to BL 2011-01. This revision supersedes the Reference Isubmittal in its entirety.

This letter contains no new commitments and no revisions to existing commitments. Please contact Mr. James Costedio, Licensing Manager, at 9201755-7427 if there are questions regarding this response.

ENCLOSURE NEXTERA ENERGY POINT BEACH, LLC POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS I AND 2 BULLETIN 2011-01, "MITIGATING STRATEGIES" 30-DAY RESPONSE NRC Requested Action I Is the equipment necessary to execute the mitigating strategies, as described in your submittals to the NRC, available and capable of perfbrming its intended function?

NextEra Response Yes, the required equipment to execute the Phase I , 2 and 3 mitigating strategies, as described in Reference I, are available and capable of performing their intended function(s).

NRC Requested Action 2 Are the guidance and strategies implementedcapable of being executed considering the current configuration of your facility and current staffing and skill levels of the staff?

NextEra Response Yes, the guidance and implementing procedures are capable of being executed to accomplish the objective of strategies delineated for compliance with 10 CFR 50.54(hh)(2). Current plant configuration, staffing levels and skill levels of the plant staff were considered in the implementation of the strategies. (Reference 1)
