This letter clarifies the Nuclear Management Company, LCC (NMC) response to Question I.Cprovided in Reference 2, which stated that, "Engineering of the design and installation of the new solenoid operated valves will be performed on a schedule commensurate with the safety significance of the change and in consideration of the plant conditions required to implement the change."

As discussed during a telephone conference between Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff and NMC personnel, the completion date for resolution of the above actions is clarified to be consistent with that previously stated in Reference I.At the latest, these actions will be completed consistent with the existing NMC commitment to resolve GSI-I 91 by December 31,2007.

This letter contains one clarification to a regulatory commitment.
