Continuation of outage that began September *23.

While starting the main turbine-generator,,the Gland Sealing Steam pressure regulator malfunctioned.

Reactor pressure regulator malfunctioned causing low y

level reactor trip.

Reported as LER 86-040 transruitted November 17, 19 86 by NP 860620.

October 23, scheduled shu tdown - 195. 8 hours9.259259e-5 days
0.00222 hours
1.322751e-5 weeks
3.044e-6 months
.

Performed ' shutdown using remote shutdown panel.

While shutdown performed repairs to reactor Recirculation Motor Generator Set A.

November November 2, forced shutdown - 694.0 hours0 days
0 hours
0 weeks
0 months
.

I Shutdown to repair the cause of excessive air in -

leakage into the condenser.

Outage scope was expanded to include installation of new relief valves to prevent future overpressurization of the condensate return line.

On November 17, overpressurization of this line caused an ' expansion joint to rupture and damaged a penetration in the Condensate Storage. Tank.

Reported as LER 86-045 transmitted January 12, 19 87 by NP 870025.

December December 1, forced shutdown - 710.7 hours8.101852e-5 days
0.00194 hours
1.157407e-5 weeks
2.6635e-6 months
.

l Continuation of outage that began November 2.

2.3 Fuel Performance The initial startup of the year occurred on August 4, 1986 following a ten-month outage.

Since then, the reactor has achieved criticality ten times and has i

generated approximately 72 MWD / ton of thermal energy.

I The current core average exposure is approximately 100 MWD (t)/ ton.
