Brookfield, IL, 60513 Email: mtsenn@gmail.com General Comment I am glad that the amendment is subject to a rigorous review. It appears that this amendment meets the review requirements. That being said, it is not clear what the amendment is changing. Perhaps that is too lengthy for a layman to weigh in on, but based on the events at Fukushima Dai-Ichi, I believe special attention should be paid to those nuclear reactors that are near bodies of water and at risk of flood events.
Rising planetary water levels will increase the risk of those nuclear plants closest to shorelines.
I believe the NRC review will be thorough and support the NRC decision.
