Nuclear Regulatory Commission, dated September 19, 2005, "Inservice Inspection Relief Request RI-37, Revision 0, Cooper Nuclear Station, Docket 50-298, DPR-46" (NLS2005087)

The purpose of this letter is to inform the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) of Nebraska Public Power District's (NPPD) request to withdraw the referenced Inservice Inspection Relief Request. Discussions with the NRC staff indicate that use and application of ASME Code Case N-686, "Alternative Requirements for Visual Examinations, VT-I, VT-2, and VT-3" will require additional informnation. NPPD anticipates submitting the relief request, with the additional information, at a mutually agreeable future date.
