(The STP for calibrating the differential temperature instrumentation does include adequate functional testing. This calibration had last been performed 12/12/96.) The plantimmediately entered a one-hour Limiting Condition of Operation (LCO) to isolate the RWCU system, and Instruments and Controls (l&C) technicians performed the calibration STP and verified operability. A Root Cause Evaluation is ongoing. (LER #97 08, pending).
