The Reference letter provided formal notification of the intention to permanently cease power operations at the Duane Arnold Energy Center (DAEC) in the fourth quarter of 2020.
The purpose of this letter is to supplement the Reference letter with additional information regarding power operations at DAEC. Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.82(a)(1)(i) and 10 CFR 50.4(b)(8), NextEra Energy Duane Arnold certifies to the NRC that it plans to permanently cease power operations at the DAEC on October 30, 2020.
