Federal Register, 82 FR 8353, List of Approved Spent Fuel Storage Casks: AREVA Inc., Standardized NUHOMS Cask System, Certificate of Compliance No. 1004, Amendment No. 14, and Revision 1 of the Initial Certificate, Amendment Nos. 1 Through 11, and Amendment No. 13, dated January 25, 2017 Pursuant to 10 CFR 72.212(b)(2), NextEra Energy Duane Arnold, LLC is providing the enclosed information to register the spent fuel storage casks at the Duane Arnold Energy Center (DAEC) independent spent fuel storage installation (ISFSI).
The applicable Certificate of Compliance (CoC) for the DAEC ISFSI is TN Americas LLC Standardized NUHOMS-61 BT CoC No. 1004, Amendments 8 and 9 (References 1 and 2). Pursuant to 10 CFR 72.214, Revision 1 of CoC Amendments 8 and 9 superseded the approved amendments and became effective on April 25, 2017.

November 10, 2017 NG-17-0216 Page 2 of 2 This letter serves as notification that the DAEC ISFSI has implemented Revision 1 to the respective amendments of CoC No. 1004 (References 3 and 4) for the previously loaded spent fuel storage casks. The enclosure to this letter provides the spent fuel cask registration information pursuant to 10 CFR 72.212(b)(2).
