Dear Mr. Collins:
By the referenced letter, Nuclear Management Company, LLC (NMC) transmitted a proposed revision to the Duane Arnold Energy Center (DAEC) Quality Assurance Program Description (QAPD). The revision included changes to the frequency of conducting Fire Protection audits.
On June 5, 2002, a conference call was held between the Staff and NMC personnel to discuss these proposed changes. Based on that discussion, NMC will revise the referenced submittal.
The revised submittal will supersede the April 9, 2002 transmittal.
