SUMMARY

REPORT July 1, 2001 TO December 31, 2001 SYNOPSIS:

Center During this reporting period, Nuclear Management Company(NMC)/Duane Arnold Energy (DAEC) conducted 209 drug and alcohol tests in accordance with 10 CFR Part 26. The break down for this period's testing activity is:

Random 180 / 0 Positive Pre-Access 26 / 0 Positive For-Cause 1 / 0 Positive Follow-Up 2 / 0 Positive Other 0 / 0 Positive Total 209 I 0 Positive of The NMC/DAEC follows the guidelines as provided in 10 CFR Part 26, Appendix A for types rate for this period was substances and cut-off levels for positive test results. The random testing around 27.41 percent of the average population. The total for all of 2001 was 51.22 percent.

MANAGEMENT ACTIONS TAKEN:
